The idea behind the INCISION series is: That the observable reality is not equal to the actual reality With INCISION the suggestion is created that primary forms are present. These are indicated by incisions. A cut is visible through surrounding matter. The cut itself is space.

STRUCTURE OF ILLUSION

(2015)

"Structure of Illusion" is a series on the border between reality and illusion, in the sense that they have no conceivable form. They are composed of two or more works that are joined together. This creates a boundary within the work.
BISHOP OR “LOPER” SERIES For this series is chosen to depict the Bishop’s movement within a chess party (documented grandmaster parties), as visualization for a thinking process. The resulting structure gives a visual form to the (chess) thinking process. It is a visualization of an action, a strategy, an idea.
